How do mosquitoes find their target?
University research shows mosquitoes are guided mainly by temperature, scent and vision; over distance, carbon dioxide (CO&sub2;) is the most critical attractant cue. The MK-06-3 is engineered around these signals: it emits human-mimicking gases, humid body-odour compounds and 365nm UV light to draw mosquitoes from a distance, then a 360° vortex pulls them in and dries them out — intercepting mosquitoes at the adult stage.
